Finally after having to wait an extra four days (Thanks UPS) I finally received my new Nokia 6131 NFC. The phone has quiet a few features and is small and compact. The reason for needing this phone is so I can start development on Near Field Communication (NFC). At the moment my PhD revolves around the world of NFC and this little phone is going to help me with my first prototype.

I was accepted as a research student at the University of Greenwich earlier this year and have just registered. I’m researching in the field of Near Field Communication (NFC). As days go past this area is slowly becoming reality as O2 has shown. However, although my research is in this particular field, I’m reaching out further into the practicalities of NFC and the day to day business environment. Hopefully after I finsih Ill be more than happy to release my paper, so watch this space
