Timothy Bowler

My name is Timothy Bowler, I have been programming for around 8 years. I decided software engineering was for me after the first few months at university and have being programming ever since. I have been working at Or Media for around 4 year and hold the role of Technology Director.

Over the last two and half years I have been managing the development and implementation of small to large scale web applications using using Scrum and lean practices. I also facilitate the teams to make them perform as best they can.

Coming from a software engineering background, my passed experience is implementing small to large scale web applications, and researching new and advanced technology to implement them.

Although starting out as a software engineer, I have loved implementing scrum and therefore have reached the level of Certified Scrum Practitioner. And for the foreseeable future hope to reach the level of Certified Scrum Coach and/or Trainer and successfully continue to work with and implement Scrum and Lean practices.

Outside of the office I keep busy with scuba diving, muay thai, brazilian ju-jitsu , cooking and studying a Phd part time at University.
