Nokia 6131 NFC

Nokia 6131 NFCFinally after having to wait an extra four days (Thanks UPS) I finally received my new Nokia 6131 NFC. The phone has quiet a few features and is small and compact. The reason for needing this phone is so I can start development on Near Field Communication (NFC). At the moment my PhD revolves around the world of NFC and this little phone is going to help me with my first prototype.

    Here is the grand question.
    Where did you buy your nokia 6131 NFC?
    Man, I cannot find anywhere on the web that sells them, not even ebay. lol

  • I bought it direct from nokia, on their website.
  • To be honest its hard to say. The phones have the added functionality of using NFC, but in the UK these services are not really there to support the handset. From speaking to others in the area, a safe assumption would be to expect these types of handset available to the general public around 2010-2012.
